Every Les Petit ring is handcrafted in solid 14K gold here in Los Angeles, and we want yours to feel just right. Our rings come in US sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Here's how to find your size at home in a few minutes.

The most accurate way

A quick visit to a local jeweler for a professional sizing is the most reliable way to know your size. If you'd rather measure at home, either of the two methods below works well.

Option 1: Measure a ring you already own

  1. Pick a ring that fits the finger you're shopping for.
  2. Lay it flat and measure the inside, from one inner edge straight across to the other, in millimeters.
  3. Find that number in the Inner diameter column of the chart below.

Option 2: The string or paper strip method

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper or a piece of non-stretchy string.
  2. Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.
  3. Mark the spot where the ends meet with a pen.
  4. Lay it flat and measure from the end to your mark in millimeters.
  5. Find that number in the Circumference column of the chart below.

A few tips

  • Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are a little larger when they're warm and smaller in the morning or when they're cold.
  • Measure two or three times to make sure you get the same number.
  • Check your knuckle. The ring needs to slide over it comfortably, so if your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure there too.
  • Wider bands fit snugger. A wide signet or bar ring will feel a little tighter than a thin band in the same size.
  • In between two sizes? Email us before you order and we're happy to help you choose the best fit.
